Contributor Guidelines

We welcome contributions from clinicians, researchers, and experienced science writers who share our commitment to evidence and clarity. Here's what we look for and how to pitch.

Who we look for

  • Clinicians and researchers in endocrinology, obesity medicine, nutrition, or related fields.
  • Science writers with a track record of accurate, well-sourced health writing.
  • Anyone who can translate primary research into plain language without distorting it.

What we publish

Original, evidence-based pieces on appetite, hunger, satiety, food noise, metabolism, weight regain, and GLP-1 science. The strongest contributions add something new — fresh analysis, a research synthesis, a clear visual explanation, a comparison, or a careful myth debunking — rather than restating what's already widely available.

Our standards

Every contribution is held to our editorial standards. In short:

  • Every factual claim is tied to a named, verifiable peer-reviewed source.
  • Citations include working identifiers (PMID/DOI); we verify them and never publish fabricated references — see our fact-checking policy.
  • Content is education, not medical advice, and is honest about uncertainty.
  • No undisclosed conflicts of interest; no promotional or affiliate-driven framing.

Submission process

  1. Pitch first. Send a short outline (topic, angle, key sources) via our contact page — don't send a full draft unsolicited.
  2. Review. We'll confirm fit and agree the angle, length, and sources.
  3. Draft. Write to our structure (clear sections, takeaways, FAQs, references), following the editorial process.
  4. Editorial & accuracy review. All drafts pass our review process before publication.

What we don't accept

  • Sponsored or affiliate-driven content presented as editorial.
  • Pieces sourced from press releases, anecdote, or non-peer-reviewed material as primary evidence.
  • Generic, AI-generated content with no original analysis or verified sourcing.
  • Anything offering individualised medical advice.
